We launched our first ever Parent Involvement Partners initiative in October
last year to recruit parents volunteers to join strategic meetings within
the Council and represent the wider parent carer community.
We now have a brilliant group of parents who
- Take part in EHCP quality audits
- Review the Local Offer guides and information to ensure it’s accessible
- Have joined the My SEND Journey Workstream with the Council and represent the wider parent career views during these meetings.
- Are participating on the short breaks funding panel.
- PIP Updates - Create a bulletin style section where we can add latest news from our Parent Involvement Partners
