Adele and Julie have been working tirelessly for the past year on the transition project. They’ve been recruiting parent carers to take part in this brilliant piece of research examining the experiences of children transitioning from primary school to secondary school!

Their report (out now!) highlights the barriers children and parents face when transitioning as well as the varied experiences of those with and without an Educational Health & Care Plan (EHCP).

This is one of the many ways we gather parent carer voice and raise important issues that concern SEND families in the Bradford District.
