We are already planning our events for next year, including more EHCP workshops, behaviour support Q&As and, in partnership with Bradford Council, listening events for parent/carers and families, starting with the first one on 27th January. Working co-productively helps ensure the views of parent/carers and families are heard and provides opportunities to help build better services. We have now arranged the first meeting of 2021 of what we hope will be regular listening events for families with SEND.

The events are to be virtual in light of the COVID-19 pandemic and will be hosted via GoTo an online video chat platform.

The first of these events will be held on 27th January 2021 10:00am – 12:30pm. Booking is essential – the short form to do this is here. We will issue the link for the online session via email a few days beforehand.

– The first half of the session we will be the PFBA, Bradford Council and Health Colleagues providing you the families of Bradford, with an update as to what we have been working on and recent key achievements

– The second part of the session we would like to build upon our understanding of the queries you have raised already around your experience of SEND Services in general or how COVID-19 may have affected your family.  We hope to be able to provide some clear advice and responses to these queries, as well as using this valuable feedback to use as an evidence base to shape working practice in the future.

We will try to answer as many queries you may have during the event but if for any reason we can’t, we will ensure that your queries are responded to after the event. In addition we will publish a write up and Q & A that will help us in preparation for the next listening event.
